Meet JNAN:
JNAN (pronounced Jay–Non) is known to some as the 2004 Clear Channel/WGCI Chicago idol, shows just how long JNan has been in the music industry and is still making moves to become today’s music icon bringing the change that hip hop is looking for. His voice been heard in several regional businesses and national corporations including Fox Television, KFC and EZ Link just to name a few. He has been featured in Complex Magazine as Budweiser True Musical artist in 2005, has also appeared in several regional and online publications and websites such as TheSource.com, URB.com,THURO Magazine, Ourstage.com, UrbanGrind.com and UrbanWire.com to name a few.
JNAN has received support from known artist such as Common and Kanye West both supporting the come up of this young artist recognizing his talent, knowing he is soon to be hip hops next icon.
“From the moment he stepped on stage I just wanted to watch him. Then it was almost like I could’ve closed my eyes because the visual of everything that JNAN was saying was so clear. His presence is up there. He’s just got it, he’s got It.” –Common.

JNAN has spearheaded the Green Light Movement, a Non-Profit Organization with a mission to facilitate a cohesiveness in the city by networking and utilizing connections and resources to bring the best that Chicago has to offer into the Public eye while providing a professionally run avenue for community and personal development. On December 24, 2009 JNAN hit the streets of Chicago and gave back to the homeless, giving socks and blankets showing that giving something is better than giving nothing at all. “You never know you just never know if it can be you,” says JNAN as he gives back.
